The International Learning and Research Centre is a self-funded, not for profit, innovation and development centre which promotes and invests in school and community-based research and practitioner enquiry.

Co-ordination and management of national and international projects.- A research and development strategy which includes learning from international contexts.
- Seminars, conferences and professional learning opportunities for all members of the International Learning and Research Centre Networks.
- Working in partnership with practitioners in communities and schools to investigate, evaluate and share innovative and best practice.
- Supporting learners to take a lead in their own learning as a result of reflection and analysis.
